Did you watch Design Star on Monday? I have been fascinated with tiny houses ever since. Something about the simplicity of these small spaces really intrigues me. Could I live this way? Would my life be better with less? No doubt it’s better for the environment. Could you do it? Let’s take a look.
Here’s Meg inside her completed tiny house on Design Star. Mark and Karl did a great job too, but Meg’s was my favorite.

Love the light streaming in. Just think, these houses are so small, you could move them to whatever light or location you like best!

I would LOVe the challenge of designing a teensy tiny space. and yes I could live in one — if it was a vacation house. So cute!!
OK so I totally just skipped through this post while the photos were loading because I haven’t watched the Design Star episode. It’s on the DVR! I’ve always said that I could live in a teensy place in NYC … but I’ve never actually done it so I guess the proof would be in the pudding!!!
I saw this episode too and I had never heard of tiny houses before seeing it. I’m definitely intrigued. I love anything small and liveable. I used to make my parents stop at RV retailers just so I could tour them. Small living spaces have always fascinated me so this type of home does too. I love all the pics you posted. I’m going to have to see what other pictures of tiny homes I can find. xo, Cristi
